Krzysztof Dębnicki graduated in history at the University of Warsaw and holds a doctorate in humanities. He completed research scholarships at the Center for Advanced Studies in Sociology, Delhi University, India (1986) and the State University of New York (SUNY), Long Island, USA (1991). From 1973, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw. In 1993, he joined the MFA’s Africa, Asia, Australia and Latin America Department. In the years 2001-05 he served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia. Between 2005 and 2007 he worked in the MFA’s Asia and Pacific Department. From 2007 to 2010 he was the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Pakistan.
Since 2018 he serves as an Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.
