Prof. Snezana Panovska
Chopin Society Malaysia
Professor Snezana Panovska, a highly acclaimed piano professor, she was born in the Republic of Macedonia. After having graduated from the Academy of Music in Belgrade, she went on to specialize in Piano Performance at the Frederic Chopin State Conservatoire in Warsaw, Poland.
She has worked with renowned masters such as Halina Czerny Stefanska and J. Slendzinska from Poland as well as M.G. Sokolov, E. Timakin and Arbo Valdma from the Moscow Conservatoire. She has performed as soloist with reputed orchestras and chamber ensembles.
Currently works as a professor at Sunway University in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
Founder of Chopin Society Malaysia has a great influence in ASEAN Region in establishing International Competitions in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand as well many competitions of different levels in Malaysia.
In 2010 Prof. Snezana Panovska has awarded a CHOPIN's PASSPPORT for her contributions in promoting the music of Fryderyk Chopin.
